Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment to Digital Accessibility
Gravurkraft is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
This accessibility statement applies to the website gravurkraft.de in compliance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act / EAA), and European Standard EN 301 549.
Conformance Status
This website conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and WCAG 2.2 at Level AA, as well as European Standard EN 301 549.
Accessibility Features Implemented
- Full Keyboard Accessibility: All menus, product filters, customisation tools, shopping cart, and checkout flow can be navigated and operated completely without a mouse.
- Keyboard Focus & Skip Links: A skip-to-content mechanism bypasses repetitive navigation. High-contrast focus rings clearly indicate the active keyboard focus.
- Screen Reader Optimisation: Meaningful HTML5 semantic landmarks (banner, main, contentinfo, dialog), robust ARIA attributes, and descriptive alternative text for all imagery.
- Accessible Live Configurator: The plaque customiser features standardised ARIA sliders, arrow-key color swatch navigation with radio semantics, and polite ARIA live regions announcing dynamic pricing changes.
- Accessible Forms & Alerts: Inputs feature clear associated labels, standard autocomplete tokens, and immediate screen-reader error announcements via ARIA alerts.
- Color Contrast & Zoom: Colors exceed WCAG AA minimum contrast requirements, and page layouts zoom cleanly without losing functionality.
- Reduced Motion Support: Respects the user's system preference for reduced motion (
prefers-reduced-motion).
Preparation of this Statement
This statement was prepared on October 24, 2026. The assessment was conducted via self-evaluation, automated audits, and rigorous manual testing using screen readers and keyboard navigation.
