1. Scope of Application

This return and cancellation policy applies to orders placed by customers located in:

  • The European Union (EU)
  • The United Kingdom (UK)
  • Switzerland
  • The United States (USA)

2. Custom & Personalized Items

All Gravurkraft products are individually manufactured to your specific requirements.

Pursuant to Section 312g (2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB) and European consumer law, statutory cancellation rights do not apply to goods that are:

  • Manufactured according to customer specifications, or
  • Clearly tailored to personal requirements

This specifically includes:

  • Personalised laser engravings (names, house numbers, custom motifs)
  • Individually designed signs and decorative items
  • Custom-made bespoke orders

3. Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal

Returns, cancellations, or refunds are excluded once manufacturing has begun if:

  • The item has been personalized according to order specifications
  • Incorrect customization details were submitted by the customer
  • The customer changes their mind after production commences
  • The delivered product matches the confirmed order specs

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Deliveries

If an item:

  • Arrives damaged in transit
  • Displays a manufacturing defect
  • Does not match your ordered specifications

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

Upon review, we will promptly provide an appropriate solution:

  • Replacement delivery
  • Repair / remediation
  • Partial or full refund

Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

5. Inspection Period

Please inspect your order upon receipt. Any notices of defect should be reported promptly, ideally within 14 days of parcel delivery.

6. Returns Procedure

Returns must be coordinated and agreed upon in advance. Unannounced return parcels cannot be accepted.

7. Return Shipping Costs

In the event of justified claims (damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied items), we cover or reimburse return shipping costs.

8. Cancellation Prior to Production

Order cancellation or changes are only possible before actual laser fabrication has started. Please reach out as early as possible.

9. Deliveries to the UK & Switzerland

For shipments delivered outside the EU customs area (such as the UK or Switzerland), local import VAT, customs tariffs, or carrier processing fees may apply and remain the responsibility of the recipient.
